Who we are

This website is operated by Jasmina Zivkovic, REALTOR®, a real estate agent with RE/MAX Your Community Realty Inc., Brokerage, registered with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), serving buyers and sellers in the Greater Toronto Area.

Protecting you is the heart of this practice, and it always has been. The very first version of this website, back in 2006, opened with a simple promise: to be 100% committed to protecting your privacy, and to never sell or share your personal information. That has not changed. This policy just spells out, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, Quebec's Law 25. If you visit from outside Canada, we will honour equivalent access and deletion requests where applicable law requires. As a member of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), we also follow the CREA REALTOR® privacy commitments.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you email us or send an inquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and anything you choose to tell us about your real estate goals. The primary way to reach us is email.
  • Information collected automatically. When you visit, our analytics record your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site you came from. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve it. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies: strictly necessary (the ones that make the site work) and analytics (understanding how the site is used, through Google Analytics). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can opt out of analytics by installing Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or by controlling cookies in your browser settings.

Third-party services

  • Google Analytics 4 — to understand website traffic and usage. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of this data; you can opt out with the add-on linked above.
  • Cloudflare — hosts and delivers this website (content delivery and security); it processes basic request data (such as IP address) to serve pages and protect against abuse.

These partners process data on our behalf or under their own policies as described; we share only what is needed for the service. Some of them (Google and Cloudflare) may process or store data outside Canada, including in the United States.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and help you buy or sell a home.
  • To understand and improve how the website is used.
  • To meet our legal and professional (RECO, TRESA, CREA) obligations.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above (analytics and hosting) to operate the site, and only as needed. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Inquiry and contact details are kept for the duration of any working relationship and a reasonable period after. Analytics data follows the provider's standard retention settings.

Your rights

Subject to your jurisdiction (PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, or equivalent), you may: access the information we hold about you; correct it; ask us to delete it; withdraw consent at any time; and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Email protection

We display email addresses in a way that discourages spam-bot harvesting. This is a display technique only and does not track you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
